False writeups and Ageism

My manager mistreated many of my fellow employees by writing people up without justification. Even for something as silly as putting in PTO a few hours late, our manager would falsely claim performance issues. Even worse, she would write people up for taking time off or using PTO or VTO, which is their right to use when they need to be away from work. Even though she was eventually fired, several of us were wrongfully terminated due to her false writeups. 

Afterwards, a few of us who complained about her were allowed an appeals process, but why are we forced to deal with all of this due to upper management's mistake in supervising our manager? Even though she was fired for her abusive behavior, we're still stuck with her false paperwork unless we fight it. And if we fight it, management considers us troublemakers and wants to fire us, so it's a no-win situation. 

Although our manager was fired, this situation is still ongoing with other managers. Two coworkers were written up by another manager for lack of performance, even though there was no work available on any of our 17 lines until after 2pm on Tuesday this past week. 

Ageism is an even bigger problem in our site. Anyone over 35 is pushed harder to the point of injury, just to look for an excuse to dismiss them.
