No need to fix anything

Do you want proof Amazon doesn't care about my fellow employees? Despite overwhelming evidence being published widely for nearly a year now showing how badly many employees are mistreated, including sexism, ageism, and racial bias, Amazon PR continues to publicly deny there's any problem and there's no evidence whatsoever internally that anyone is taking action. One of my managers recently confirmed this by saying: "that was considered a press issue, so no one in management sees a need to fix anything."

On the other hand, when certain political groups complained because Amazon doesn't delivery prime now equally to all neighborhoods and then claimed that there was a racial bias in the configuration, Amazon PR could have responded truthfully that my prime delivery group set up the delivery areas based on where our current prime members live and would expand as new prime memberships increased in other neighborhoods. Instead, they rushed within less than a month to announce that we are going to deliver equally to all neighborhoods to avoid our customers feeling that they were being harmed, even if it wasn't true. This shows that our company can move fast to fix problems when it wants to.

When it comes to employees being mistreated, Amazon specifically does everything possible to fire victims and silence them by dragging out the legal process for years to thwart their case from being disclosed. It really doesn't seem to care about so many victims of managerial abuse being harmed...
