Gaslighting visa workers

Currently it's 3am in where I live and I couldn't sleep as it's obvious. I haven't have sleep disorders before I worked for Amazon neither panic attacks or any other physiological issues in my life.

Surprised?

I don't think so.

A light bulb shined in my mind when I read news about an engineer in Facebook end his life after finding himself in Development Plan.

I don't support idea of suicide of course but do you think this coincidence or personal weakness only?

Are companies like Amazon and Facebook innocent in this?

According to my thoughts, Gaslighting & Stack Ranking applies only:

-Employees from Visa Required countries (Non native English speakers, 10 to 20 % of total employees )

Why Visa workers?

Because their visa depend on company that they worked on. So it's modern slavery. If employer does very illegal and bad things to employee directly, he/she can't resign easily.

Why he/she can't resign?

Because you have just settled in and come a country which is probably not developed as you are in at that moment and may have family dependencies or financial, career concerns.

So you see some of the employees are so happy working at Amazon, but most are not, like me.

Most of the countries in the world have rules to protect local employees over foreigners. This is usually (50/50), but it's just on paper, nobody knows agreements in background.

Between 50 to 75(up to 90) filled with native English speakers or citizens who has direct or easy work permits.

Employees that are affected with gaslighting and stack ranking are %10 to 20 of total.

It means they already Stack ranked, next one will be double.

I have a great experience in my area, worked in many multinational & big companies in my career as top performer always and never faced such a bad experience. Nor even in small, non developed companies.

This is not just only a bad experience for me, have resulted physiological implications and disturbed my family life and career as well.

I worked in Amazon as SysDev Eng for 2.5 years and put in a development plan surprisingly, without any notice or proper background.

When I asked the reason of this situation, they haven't provided clear response to me and said this "Dealing with Ambiguity is our Leadership Principle (LP). You need to find out what you are doing wrong by yourself"

There were no any signs of bad performance before from management.

I think company built top of abusing "Ambiguity" Lp.

To visa employees, managers doesn't give you feedback after you completed a project or task, so you always feel a physiological pressure that you are not doing well. So that Visa employees usually works much harder and impacted with this pressure, bullying.

I also know more people that they face similar issues on the company.

As I expand in the beginning of my email, I believe this is systematic, intentional problem. Maybe covers other companies as well.

I couldn't find a lawyer to defend my rights, emailed all of the well known solicitors but haven't got any return. (some of them expect unrealistic costs, so I though that might not afford it and no way to win towards to Amazon)

I didn't explained thing in very detail but there is more than I explained.

Hope this will be helpful info for improving  your working life & quality somehow.

All the best
