Little to no perks

Amazon is definitely one of the stingiest places to work. Not only do we have to pay inflated prices for breakfast and lunch on campus, we also don't have free parking on site. It costs about $300 per month to park in Downtown Seattle, and $200 if you live in an apartment in the area. Amazon no longer allows us to expense the way we get to and from work.

Top it off with 10% off of a measly $100 allowable "employee discount" for shopping online, and wrap it with a bow of sadness that Amazon asks you to do extra work (likely to de-centivize us) by highlighting your "business related calls". As proof of our cell phone use, we have been instructed to calculate the percentage of our calls that were business related, and take that %percentage from our total bill to the maximum of $50 a month.
