Thrown to the wolves

The training at Amazon is all online and extremely boring. You are given 50 hours to train in Phase 1 and Phase 2 for Call Center workers.

Then they throw you into calls before you even complete the training. The Team Lead is NEVER online when you're working, so you can't ask for help. The support team email box is usually full and can't receive your email. There are constant technical errors with their phone system and other tools. The time allowed between phone calls isn't enough to regroup after anything but a very simple call.

Amazon doesn't seem to care that the support people aren't actually supporting the agents. They are fine throwing you away and hiring the next bunch once you get sick of the mess you're thrown into.
