System manipulation

I'm an employee of Amazon for two years. I'm at the Amazon Prime location, not a quite big as the hubs. But the problems are just as bad. Amazon moments is where you can go a pick up shifts when the hours drop, but it have been a compromise. The managers that have your own emails know who you are. That same email is attached to your scanner with your rate that records your work performance.

If you get a low rate, guess what - you won't get that email about shifts dropping. If you do, it will be no shifts available. The managers manipulate the system so they can get the best so-called pickers and stowers with a high rating, so they can work their particular shifts and get a high rating at the end of the day.

My site is one of the lowest in the network. I've had 4 managers come and go in the two years I've been here. If you don't ass kiss, you won't shifts. You won't get shifts at all.

Also, they've got pallets on the floor, which is a safety hazard issue. Tripping over pallets or walking around them - it's a mess here.
