No compassion

I've been working for Amazon for almost an entire month now...it started out great the first two weeks, but then came the "coaching" write ups...I'm what you call a stower...I scan items...big and small, with a scanner then "find" a space for them on a shelf. Amazon requires you to be super fast scanning 260 items an hour, every hour for ten hours straight without any mistakes...one mistake then you'll be spoken to...like I mentioned, I've only been there for almost a month and already been spoken to and written up for my performance..I'm not going to be faster than the person next to me who has been there for almost two years, but I'm definitely not going to be slower than the person who's been there for only a week...let me tell you, I'm 36 years old..I was a Probation Officer for 9.5 years...been in numerous fights, search warrant raids, had my gun drawn out and NEVER, NEVER have I been so stressed out about losing my job due to performance then working for Amazon...I'm a hard worker! I'll do any job, but have some grace and compassion toward new employees...not some punk 20 something year old with tattoos on my neck who just came straight outta prison...which Amazon has A LOT of employees in that criteria...once Amazon sees your not meeting they're numbers, whether you've been there for one month or ten years, they will terminate you just like that...no grace, no compassion, no forgiveness...I'm currently looking for a different job...
