Age and disability discrimination

Over the past few years, I have observed numerous people over 55 and/or with a disability be suddenly put on a PIP (or whatever it's called now) and pushed out. Amazon absolutely stack ranks, and I believe age and disability are used to get rid of even solid performers, based on the ludicrous reasons given for putting people on a PIP, such as "You need to speak up more in meetings." And when the person does just that and brings back results, their manager scrambles to move the goalposts and provide something else.

In most cases, these were people I worked with on a daily basis, so I saw direct deliverables and direct evidence of solid performance. The only thing they had in common was being over 55 and having disability accommodations.

I would like to see a class action. Given the bullying and intimidation rampant at Amazon, I ask that if you have a story to share, to please post it here on this site. If there are enough actionable examples, I will take the lead on next steps, protecting our anonymity.
