Disrespecting employees

Internally and externally, Amazon keeps reminding everyone how great a workplace Amazon is. Such as: "...last month Amazon was named by LinkedIn as the [seventh] most sought after place to work in the UK and ranked first place in the US. Amazon also offers public tours of its fulfillment centers so customers can see first-hand what happens after they click ‘buy’ on Amazon.”

Yeah, I'm guessing Amazon doesn't show these visitors the workers peeing in bottles.

In the article linked below, Amazon uses this to discredit, invalidate, and downright disrespect employees in the UK.

We need to get the reality out there in the media. Amazon will never change if there are no consequences for the company's behavior. Things have not changed for the better since the infamous NY Times article, they have only been driven underground, renamed, or covered over with "publicity-friendly" moves like paternity leave and public displays of charitable giving.

Meanwhile, Amazon is on track to become the world's 1st trillion-dollar company, Bezos is the richest man in the world, and Amazon employees are getting no raises and little or no stock for at least the next 2 years. Amazon has never given bonuses to employees and did not take advantage of the new tax laws to do so, as Disney and Wal-Mart have. Nickel-and-diming is rampant, such as rescinding the parking subsidy and some employee discounts disappearing.
