Not isolated

I have been working at Amazon for more than 9 years I've often called Amazon my mistress because she's emotionally abusive, but she's hot so I go back for more punishment.

I'm currently a manager and I will be the first to say that the management process is abusive.

I've seen too much "behind the wizard's curtain". I hate how our individual contributors can be treated. Managers are contantly forced to ride people and stack rank employees. I've been forced to give very good employees bad ratings purely because of politics.

Amazon's focus on PR the past 3+ years keeps saying that the bad stories in the media are all "isolated incidents". This is simply false. The culture is abusive and it will cause a sudden collapse in the company someday.
