Complaint about ONT6 HR

Last week, I was assigned to work a bin project in P1B. The project was to replace incorrectly installed shelves in the upper drawer bins. We were given a task time that seemed reasonable in the beginning, however I soon found myself falling behind the others on the project. The project manager told me I was way behind. Therefore, I did everything I could to try and pick up the pace. I was instructed by the project manager to use the other side of the aisle to store drawers while working which required using unsafe methods while on a ladder. This was done to increase our pace. I managed to make it through the first 2 quarters of the day with only minimal fatigue. However, because I was told that I was an hour and a half behind which seemed unlikely, I continued to try and work fast. Some time during the 3rd quarter (roughly 1PM) I begin to feel pain in my fingers. I also felt pain in my back, but that felt like normal fatigue. By the end of my shift, I was just so glad that it was over because the pain was becoming unbearable. The next day, sometime mid-morning I begin to feel cramping in my fingers. It got so bad that my hands started to lock up in a claw formation. I did not work the bin project the rest of the week. However, today I was assigned the project again and I tried to see if I could be removed. The PA I asked told me they would try and get a replacement for me. The process for replacing me was to ask one associate if they wanted to to work this Bin Project. When that employee refused, the PA told me sorry and that I had to work it. I don't understand the process where one employee can refuse and the other cannot. Therefore, I decided that I could not put myself through that pain again and decided to use some of my hours. Before I left, I went to file a report with AmCare to make sure I had something on record. At first, the AmCare personnel told me it was pointless to file a report because the injury occurred the week prior and my fingers were not hurting this morning. However, I insisted and my AM was called in to file a report. When my AM arrived I over heard the AmCare employee tell her "You're really gonna love this one," insinuating that I was making the whole thing up. I then asked my AM if I could simply be put back into function and to my surprise the answer was no. This made no logical sense to me, because not only were they losing production in the bin project, but they would be losing production in ICQA. It essentially came down to me working the bin project or go home despite my report.

So in summary, I suffered pain because of I was forced to work in a faster unsafe manner all for the purpose of safety for the rest of our coworkers. Meanwhile some employees are allowed to reject the work and some are not. I won't even go into the favoritism that takes place everyday. Lastly, when presented with a simple solution, management chose to less production and I lost hours that I didn't want to lose as a result.

The second portion of this email is going to be sent to all the proper authorities within the company including Mr. Bezos. It is my understanding that other individuals at our FC have been granted permission to not work special projects. Why I am excluded from this is inappropriate bias.
