Increasingly bloated

Amazon has developed all of the cons of a large company continuing to grow quickly:

- increasingly bloated bureaucracy

- inefficient use of time and money

- churn due to constant restructuring and short turnover

- too few employees for the work being requested

- a thickening layer of middle managers who build empires which provide little to no value

Basically, they're becoming more similar to our Seattle neighbor Microsoft in all the bad ways. Ironically, Microsoft is moving in the opposite direction after spending the last 2 decades acting like the really old tech companies (IBM, HP, etc).
