Hollywood and Amazon

So it turns out that Amazon coming to Hollywood is a marriage of evil. While everyone here knew about the "casting couch", this was a problem in our industry which you could avoid if you knew which people and studios to stay away from (even though that meant less opportunities).

But with Amazon's culture of rewarding bad behavior and sweeping it under the rug when there’s complaints, Amazon Studios has become the worst of all worlds. They brought the most insidious parts of their tech culture to LA and the combined situation is horrendous for everyone involved.

Even though Roy Price, Joe Lewis, and Conrad Riggs have already been fired and Morgan Wandell left, Jeffrey Tambor is apparently still being protected by the top bosses at Amazon since he's one of their biggest stars. All of these accusations are at least 2 years old, so Amazon has been keeping things quiet by firing whistleblowers and using other methods from their bruising culture they've carried over from HQ into Amazon Studios. Only the Harvey Weinstein scandal has forced them to take action, but even that is too little, too late.
