Run away from the recruiter

Most of my fellow Amazonians are narcissistic and arrogant. It's really hard to find normal people around here because they don't last. Even though there are learning opportunities, you end up learning nothing because there are always too much busy work

The worst part is the Annual Review Process. Everything on this process is subjective. There should be a standard measuring stick for job roles and deliverables, but it's intentionally not the case so that management can completely control the process. This being the case, many evil managers game the system to keep their friends around regardless of whether they were actually the best at their jobs or even competent.

If you love your personal life and really feel passionate about having the right career, then find a better employer. Amazon will suck the blood out of each and every employee and sometime you only realize after spending a few years with them and expecting to be honestly rewarded for your efforts. If an Amazon recruiter comes your way, run away as fast as you can!
