The company that hates its workforce

So I agree with everything on this site. I held a senior role on an operations team. It is by far the worst job i have ever had. Every manager hates each other. Very few people like working together. You win points for embarrassing each other or other meaningless political things.

There was once a meeting of all department heads for 25 minutes to decide what height posters celebrating a holiday should be. Similarly, it took 7 months to get funding approved to build a small fence and gate around our building (it cost $3000). All of this stupidity just so that managers can make themselves look good and make their peers look bad.

This is a company that hates its workforce and when our SVP was asked about the terrible retention levels, he responded by saying "if they don't like it, they can work somewhere else". That is the attitude entirely of the management team. They would rather hire externally than promote honestly other than their friends. There is a reason they are ranked so low on the top 500 companies to work for: they are a sh*tty employer!
