Reconsider comp

Now that the stock has stopped consistently rising, it's time for Amazon to reconsider the base salary cap and the lack of base salary increases. 

When the initial 4 year stock vesting offer runs out, you have to either get promoted (which gets impossibly more difficult in most orgs if you’re a L6 or higher due to the cutthroat politics) or you have to leave to avoid a huge compensation drop. 

The current model just doesn't work anymore and most people will be leaving within the next year until the stock starts climbing again.
