Right out of the gate

I applied for a job with Amazon on-line and about 1 month later was told to go to a “job fair” type place where they told me what the shift was. I reluctantly agreed and rearranged my child care to accommodate the job. I’ve been unemployed, by choice, for 16 years raising my children.

After the drug test and the letter “Congratulating” me, I was offered a shift that was different from the one I agreed. After rejecting it, I received 3 additional offers: 2 for the same shift and 1 for another shift I did not agree to upon my hire.

After reading all these testimonials, I believe I dodged a bullet working for this company. Amazon lost a great worker in me right out of the gate by being deceptive. Thank you former and present employees for warning new hires.
