Process chaos

Due to Amazon's turnover rate, new managers are always changing how you do your job, and not always for the better. There are lots of metrics quoted and attached to how you should be working without regard for how they have the process implemented. One day you're focused on one metric and then on a different metric the next day. It's completely chaotic and lets managers completely control your careers because they can claim success for their friends on one metric and then claim failure for someone they don't like (or even discriminate against) on another metric and there's nothing you can do about it. Amazon managers tend to be harsh for no reason but it's clearly just a side effect of how much pressure they are under and also being given too much power over employees with no checks or balances.
