Tex Neighbors

Tex Neighbors -- Country/Rockabilly band. Tex Neighbors recorded two 45s with Emerald Records in Fort Wayne in 1958, and the records were pressed by RCA in New York City. The four songs included on the two records are "Rock and Roll Dot," "Sea Going Man," "Rockin' Beat," and "Ain't Goin' That Route." For a band that was performing in Kokomo and recording in Fort Wayne in 1958, Tex Neighbors was well in tune with the new rockabilly sound, replete with blues riffs and twangy vocals.
