Tim Storms

Tim Storms (b. Tulsa, Oklahoma, August 28, 1972 - ) – Singer. Oklahoma-born Storms grew up in the North Eastern part of the state in Waterloo, Indiana. Immediately after high school, he returned to Oklahoma to pursue a career in Christian music. Known for his uncanny ability to sing in a low register, Storms is in the Guinness Book of World Records for producing the lowest pitch by a human voice (2002) and for possessing the widest male vocal range. From 2001 to 2004, he sang bass for Rescue, a Christian A cappella group that originated in Oregon. He has also sung with Freedom, AVB, Acappella, and Vocal Union. Since 1998, Storms has been a Branson entertainer singing several years with “50s at the Hop,” a secular A cappella group of fourteen members. From 1999 to 2001, Storms was voted Branson’s Bass Vocalist of the Year, and he was also inducted into the Branson Entertainers’ Hall of Fame in 2001. In 2006, he joined Branson’s Pierce Arrow Theater, where he sings with Dan Britton, another low register specialist. Storms has also performed in Brazil, France, Jamaica, Switzerland, and Fiji.
