Drum Corps International

Drum Corps International – In April of 2008, Drum Corps International moved its headquarters from Chicago to Indianapolis, where the week-long DCI World Championships takes place at Lucas Oil Stadium. Founded in 1972, DCI runs the North American Drum and Bugle Corps’ junior circuit, which is open for members between the ages of thirteen and twenty-one. From 1985 to 1993, one of DCI’s most competitive bands was Bloomington-based Star of Indiana, which reached the finals every year it competed and won in 1991.
