Mock Orange

Mock Orange – Rock Band. A four-piece rock band from Newburgh, Indiana, Mock Orange formed in 1993. Starting in 1997, the band has recorded seven studio albums and two live albums and are currently on various labels. The band’s debut album, Nines & Sixes (1998), earned the group a solid national fanbase on the college circuit. Following a rough patch that included a lawsuit from George Lucas, Mock Orange re-established itself with Mind is not Brain (2004), which spawned live performances on MTV 2 and song placements on CSI Miami, the Real World, Scott Baio is 45 and Single, MTV, VH1, and ESPN. Some songs have also have found a home on Geek (ABC), Raising the Bar (TNT), and Maloof Money Cup (NBC). In addition to performing around the Midwest and Eastern United States, Mock Orange has made many tours of Japan, where they have a strong following. In fact, the band released an album of early material on EMI in Japan in 2000.
