Chris Warren

Chris Warren, Jr. (b. Indianapolis, January 15, 1990 - ) – Actor, singer and dancer. Born in Indianapolis to teenage parents and high school dropouts, Christopher Warren Sr. and Brook Kerr, Chris Warren Jr. moved to California with his family in 1996 after his parents had bounced back from a period of homelessness. Only hours after arriving in Los Angeles, Chris Jr. landed his first acting job and has had steady work in television and film since 1999, including a 20-episode run on Bold and Beautiful (2004-2005). In addition to his work in TV and film, he played young Simba in a national touring production of the Lion King in 2002. His rise to fame came in 2006, when he played Zeke Taylor in High School Musical. Although not one of the lead actors in the musical, Warren reprised the role of Zeke (a basketball player with a fondness for baking) in both sequels (2007 and 2008). Lately, he has been working on launching a music career and hopes to release a single in 2008. (His parents have both enjoyed successful acting careers as well.)
