David Steele

David Steele – Guitarist, singer, and songwriter. A graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School and a former student of Boston’s Berklee School of Music, guitarist David Steele was active in the Bloomington bluegrass scene of the 1980s, playing with the well-known Not-Too-Bad Bluegrass Band. Since then, he has performed and recorded with a number of big name acts, among them Hoosier John Hiatt, John Prine, Hoosier Larry Crane, Pam Tillis, and Deanna Carter. Of particular note, Steele was part of the Dukes, which backed Steve Earle during the 1996 and 1998 tours.
