Sarah Litzsinger

Sarah Litzsinger (b. October 22, 1971 -- ) – Broadway actress and singer. A 1990 graduate of Carmel Community High School, Sarah Litzsinger debuted on Broadway as the understudy to Young Norma Jean in Marilyn: An American Fable. In the following year (1984), she was cast as Bet in a Broadway revival of Oliver! After returning to Broadway to join the cast of Les Miserables in 1992, she played the role of the narrator in the Canadian production and the American tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, which starred Donny Osmond. Starting in late 2000, Litzsinger stepped in as Belle for the Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast. Although she left the show two years later, since then she has twice revived the role of Belle for several months at a time. More recently, she has played the part of Eva Paron on an American tour of Evita. In addition to her career in music theatre, she recorded a self-titled CD in 2004 and has made appearances on such television shows as Law & Order and Ed. Although her professional life has taken her far from her Hoosier upbringing, her parents still live in Carmel.
