Babyface Edmonds

Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds (b. Indianapolis, April, 10, 1958 - ) – Singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer (music and film). Once a student at Crooked Creek Elementary and North Central High School in Indianapolis, “Babyface” was a member of an Indy-based group Manchild, which recorded on the local Chi-Sound label around 1977. Later, he recorded several top ten hits and has written or produced for a plethora of megastars including Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Madonna, NSYNC, Boyz II Men, Pebbles, Tony Braxton, Beyonce, Denisty's Child, Michael Bolton, and Eric Clapton. With eleven Grammy award wins to his credit (many as a producer), he has written or produced 26 R & B #1 hits. In 2013, he produced Ariana Grande's first album Yours Truly, and a year later hooked up with an artist on the other of the age spectrum when he sang on Barbara Streisand's album Partners. Babyface has a tour scheduled for the summer of 2019.
