Tom Wright

Tom Wright – Singer, songwriter, and guitarist. The older of the two Wright Brothers, Tom Wright was born in French Lick and moved to Indianpolis in 1959 when he was about nine years old. While a student at Arlington High School, Tom joined a folk group called the Quinchords, which included both Terry and John Talbot. During high school, he also worked at a Burger Chef. After a stint in the U.S. military, Tom put together a trio with brother Tim and friend Don Larson, and the three of them started playing regularly at the Stable Inn. In the following year, the Wright Bros. Overland Stage Company was born. In the late 1970s, a smaller group known as the Wright Brothers Band emerged. Blessed with the gift of gab, Tom has always been the spokesperson of the group as well as one of the lead singers with his rich baritone voice.
