Joey Allen (Warrant)

Joey Allen (b. Joseph Alan Cage in Fort Wayne, June 23, 1964 - ) – Guitarist. Although born in Fort Wayne, Allen grew up in Orange County, California. After playing in around twenty bands up to 1987, Allen joined Warrant, a glam rock group that catapulted his career. Warrant’s most successful song was the rock ballad “Heaven” (1989), which peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 1994, Allen left Warrant to become a Microsoft certified programmer, but he rejoined the band in 2004. There have been several changes in membership over the years, but the original line-up got back together for a tour in 2008. With the most successful being Cherry Pie (1990), Warrant has completed 10 studio albums, and Allen has played on all but 3. The most recent release was Louder, Harder, Faster (2017).
