Lowell Reynolds -- Audio Engineer. In 1997, Lowell Reynolds graduated from Brown County High School, where he played the oboe. He then completed a Bachelor's in Audio Engineering at Indiana University in 2002. From there, he moved to Nashville and started out writing jingles, including the classic, "Nationwide is On Your Side." By 2004, he was with Blackbird Studio, owned by John and Martina McBride, and and has worked on a plethora of albums by big-name acts; they include country artists Gretchen Wilson, Martina McBride, Cowboy Troy, Faith Hill, Rascal Flatts, Trace Adkins, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, LeAnne Rimes, Shania Twain, Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Loretta Lynn, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, and Clint Black. He also has engineering/mixing credits with albums by the following rock acts: Pearl Jam, John Fogerty, Kings of Leon, Daughtry, Incubus, My Morning Jacket, the Fray, and Rush. In addition, he was also part of the engineering team that worked on the Raconteurs' Consolers of the Lonely, which won a Grammy for "Best Engineered Non-Classical Album" in 2008. More recently, he engineered James Bay's Chaos and the Calm, which was nominated for "Best Rock Album" in 2016.
