Henry Lee Summer

Henry Lee Summer (b. Hank Swartz in Brazil, 1951 - ) – Singer and guitarist. Raised in Brazil, Swartz started singing at the Church of the Nazarene at around age four and formed his first band in the sixth grade. Following high school, Swartz hit the road with his group The Secret Agent Man. After many years of persistence, he achieved commercial success in the 1980s including a big hits with “I Wish I Had a Girl” (#20, 1988) and "Hey Baby" (#18, 1989). After his ninth solo album -- mainly on major labels -- in 2001, he has had some problem with drug addiction and legal issues; however, he has overcome his demons and continues to draw crowds at bars and clubs in Indianapolis and beyond.
