Sara Gettelfinger

Sara Gettelfinger (b. Louisville, Kentucky, c. 1977 - ) – Singer, actress, and dancer. Sara Gettelfinger was raised in Jeffersonville, Indiana, and benefited greatly from the artistic opportunities in nearby Louisville, where she attended the Youth Performing Arts School at DuPont Manual High School. After completing a B.F.A. at the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music 1999, Gettelfinger quickly made it into Broadway musicals by landing her first role as “Bird Girl” in Seussical the Musical at Richard Rodgers Theatre in 2000. Her first lead role on Broadway came in 2003, when she played opposite Antonio Banderas in Maury Yeston’s Nine at the Eugene O’Neal Theatre. Gettelfinger also performed on and off-Broadway in productions of Carnival!, Grey Gardens, Tenderloin, Anything Goes, The Boys from Syracuse, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Film and TV experience include appearances on Guiding Light, Ed, and Sex and the City: the Movie. In 2006, she became a member of Three Graces, a classical crossover female trio that combines Gettelfinger’s Broadway expertise with the talents of opera singer Joy Kabanuck and Kelly Levesque, who has a pop background. Signed with Decca/Universal, Three Graces is awaiting the release of its debut album. Recently, the trio completed a twenty-state tour.
