Brandon Fields

Brandon Fields (b. 1958 - ) – Saxophonist and composer. Indiana native Brandon Fields embarked on a music career as a teenager by moving to Los Angeles in 1982. In addition to releasing three solo albums between 1986 and 1999, he has toured and recorded with many prominent acts from a wide range of styles. His touring credits include stints with George Benson (1985-86), Kenny Loggins (1987), the Rippingtons (1987-89), Tower of Power (early 1990s), Earth, Wind, and Fire (1995), and the Dave Weckl Band (1998-2002). Since June 2006, Fields has played regularly with Barry Manilow at the Las Vegas Hilton. He has done session work with many of the aforementioned acts plus B.B. King, Nancy Wilson, Jewel, Everclear, Bonnie Raitt, Babyface, Toto, Nancy Sinatra, Stanley Clarke, the Temptations, Randy Newman, Queen Latifah, Rob Thomas, Kenny Rogers, and Harry Connick, Jr. His vast recording credits include the following Grammy-award winning CDs: Alejandro Sanz Y Solo Se Me Occure Amante (Album of the year for the Latin Grammys) and Ray Charles’ Genius Loves Company (2005). Still living in the Los Angeles area, Fields is a traveling clinician for Selmer Saxophones and Rico Reeds.
