Indiana Music Makers

This website is devoted to notable Indiana Music Makers. Included in the sub-pages are biographies, photographs, and embedded videos of individuals, performing groups, organizations, venues, and events. Although some of the individuals were not born in Indiana, they at some point lived in or were tied to an Indiana venue or annual event. While some of the musicians and musical groups included here have become famous, others have fallen short, but they have made contributions at the national level. Some examples include pop music artists who had only one or a few minor hits; musicians who were members, but not leaders, of famous groups; and anyone who contributed to the creation or performance of music that achieved wide exposure. Film/television composers and arrangers and session musicians fall into the latter category. In just a few instances, I have included musicians who have only had a major presence locally and/or have influenced others who have gone on to have success at the national level. Expect this site to grow, as I already have a large backlog of bios that I intend to add.
