Boyce Cullen

Pete Cullen (b. Logansport, c. 1901 – d. New York City, October, 1943) – Trombonist. Logansport-native Pete Cullen played trombone on many recordings of the incredibly popular Paul Whiteman Band in the late 1920s and early 1930s. His name also appears on recordings led by Bix Beiderbecke, Hoagy Carmichael, Eddie Lang, and Joe Venutti.


Bix Beiderbecke is featured on this track. Fellow Hoosier Bill Rank joins Cullen on trombone.

The singer is a young Bing Crosby.
