Jeffrey Reed

Jeffrey A. Reed (b. Goshen, Indiana - ) – Conductor. Born in Amish country in Northern Indiana, Jeffrey A. Reed studied conducting at the University of Louisville and the University of Iowa. He also continued his studies with Leonid Kochmar of the St. Petersburg Conservatory. Currently, Reed is gaining prominence as a dynamic conductor who successfully combines high-brow classical selections with popular programming. In fact, he has worked with artists such as Neil Sedaka, Glenn Campbell, Keith Emerson, Peter Tork, B.J. Thomas, Marilyn McCoo, and Paul Williams. From 2007 to 2010, he was the Musical Director of the Murfreesburo Symphony Orchestra. He is also the founder and Director of the Orchestra Kentucky in Bowling Green, where he now resides. He has appeared as a guest conductor with the Charleston (South Carolina) Symphony Orchestra, St. Petersburg State Symphony, St. Petersburg Orchestra of Popular Classical Music, the Owensburo Symphony Orchestra, and the Busan Sinfonietta of Busan, South Korea.
