Frank Glover

Frank Glover (b. Indianapolis, June 27, 1963 - ) – Clarinetist and saxophonist. For the past two decades, Frank Glover, a saxophonist and clainettist, has been one of Indianapolis’s most esteemed jazz artists. Although many know him as a sax player, he has raised the bar on the role of the clarinet in modern jazz. In fact, Eddie Daniels, giant of the jazz clarinet, called Glover, “one of the brightest new stars of the clarinet today.” Winner of the National Endowment of the Arts Jazz Performance Award in 1996, Glover has recorded five CDs and often plays with pianist Claude Sifferlen, also an Indy jazz legend. Under contract with Owl Studios, Glover and Sifferlen regularly perform at the Jazz Kitchen and the Chatterbox (both in Indianapolis). In addition, Glover has performed at Carnegie Hall (1996), Chicago Jazz Festival and the Indy Jazz Fest.
