Scott Leonard (Rockapella)

Charles (Scott) Leonard IV (b. Indianapolis, October 11, 1965 – ) – Singer, songwriter, arranger, and producer. A graduate of North Lawrence High School in Indianapolis, Leonard studied voice at the University of Tampa, which he attended on a baseball scholarship. In 1991 – following a few years living in Japan – Leonard joined Rockapella, an A Cappella male quartet (plus vocal percussion) that performs original vocal music and pop covers. Currently, he is Rockapella’s high tenor, principal songwriter, arranger, and producer. Known mainly for providing theme music for Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? (a children’s game show on PBS, 1991-1996) and a series of Folgers Coffee commercials, Rockapella has produced thirteen American albums. In addition, Leonard has six solo albums to his credit.
