Gospel/Christian

The list spans a wide range of years from hymn writers of the 19th century to modern performers. Likewise, a variety of styles is represented from Gospel hymns and Black Gospel to Gospel quartet singing, Christian metal, and many more. The work of Bill and Gloria Gaither as composers, arrangers, publishers, and hosts has certainly encouraged the popularity of Gospel/Christian music in Indiana. Many musicians and groups in this category have won Dove Awards, and, more so than in the other categories of music, the Gospel/Christian musicians are currently based out of Indiana.
