Ronald Isley

Ronald Isley (b. Cincinnati, May 21, 1941 - ) – Singer. Although never an Indiana resident by choice, Ronald Isley stayed in the Terre Haute Federal Penitentiary for tax evasion from 2006 until 2010. As a lead singer of the famous Isley Brothers, Ronald was inducted into the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame in 1992. Ronald is the only continuous member of the Isley Brothers, who made hit records from 1962 to 2001. They are known for such 1960s classics as “Shout,” “Twist and Shout,” and “It’s Your Thing,” as well as five #1 R & B hits from 1975 (“Fight the Power”) to 1996 (“Down Low”).
