Margot and the Nuclear So and So's

Margot and the Nuclear So and So’s – Rock Band. Based in Indianapolis, Margot and the Nuclear So and So’s is a rising indie band, whose style is described as “chamber pop.” Fronted by singer and guitarist Richard Edwards, the group includes around eight regular members and is known for its variety in instrumentation from song to song. For example, many reviews take note of “lyrical” cello playing. The name was derived from the “Margot” character played by Gwyneth Paltrow’s in the Royal Tenenbaums and President Bush’s difficulty in pronouncing the word “nuclear.” With one album under its belt, Margot is due to release two more recordings with Epic Records in 2008. In 2014, the band relased its sixth studio album with Sling Shot to Heaven.
