Tom Roznowski

Tom Roznowski – Writer, guitarist, singer, songwriter, and radio host. Born in New York, Bloomington resident, Tom Roznowski has lived his whole adult in Indiana and draws from the heartland in much of what he does. Of his three CDs, the most recent is This Place in Time (2007). His songs also appear on Wilderness Plots (Rosehill Records, 2007), which consists of musical settings of a collection of poems under the same title by Hoosier poet Scott Russell Sanders. (Carrie Newcomer, Krista Detor, Michael White, and Tim Grimm all contributed songs to Wilderness Plots.) Not only are his songs known far and wide, but so is his Hometown radio series that he created for public broadcasting. Further, his television special, “Hometown: A Journey Through Terre Haute,” was nominated for a regional Emmy in 2005.
