Dan Toler

Dan Toler (b. Connersville, ) – Guitarist. Born into a musical family in Connersville, “Dangerous Dan” Toler got his start with Danny Lee and the Upsetters, a local band in the 1960s. He went on to play with a number of rock bands with a Southern bent; they include the Allman Brothers Band (1978-82), the Greg Allman Band, the Toler Brothers Band (with brother Frankie on drums), the Dan Toler Band, and Dickey Betts & Great Southern. He has also shared the stage with B.B. King, Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Carlos Santana. His most recent CD, Living Dangerously (2006), included guitarist Ed Zinner and keyboardist Ron Gary.
