David Lee Roth

David Lee Roth (b. Bloomington, October 10, 1954 - ) – Singer. Although born in Indiana, Roth credits his summer visits to his uncle Manny’s Greenwich Village Café as the most profound musical influence in his early years. By the time he was a teenager, his family had moved to California. Some time in the early 1970s, Roth began playing in a Los Angeles area band named Mammoth, which around 1974 changed its name to Van Halen, which he departed in 1985. In 2007, he joined the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Van Halen and re-joined the band in the same year.
