Steve Wariner

Steve Wariner (b. Noblesville, December 25, 1954 - ) – Singer, songwriter, and guitarist. As a youngster, Wariner performed in bands at his father’s nightclub. As a teenager, he played bass for Dottie West (1971-74). In the 1980s and early 1990s, he had several #1 hits with RCA and MCA. Notable hits include “All Roads Lead To You" (RCA, 1981), “Some Fools Never Learn” (MCA, 1985), Life’s Highway (MCA, 1986), and “Lynda” (MCA, 1987). In 1998, he resurrected his career with “Holes in the Floor of Heaven,” which became Country Music Association’s song of the year.
