Ryan Seaton (Signature Sound)

Ryan Seaton (b. Cynthiana, Indiana, December 7, 1979 - ) – Singer. Born and raised in Cynthia, Indiana, in Posey County (the southwest extreme of the state), Ryan Seaton got interested in singing four-part harmony by singing in the barbershop quartet for a high school production of the Music Man. After high school, he first heard Gospel quartet music, when the Cathedrals, which included Ernie Haase, came to his town. Although Ryan and Ernie developed a rapport right away, Ryan was not ready to join a seasoned-group like the Cathedrals. However, he did join the Arkansas-based Melody Boys Quartet, which he sang with for about eight months. His time with the Melody Boys ended because he got his highly anticipated call from Ernie Haase to join the new group called Ernie Haase and Signature Sound in 2003. Seaton sang lead for that group until 2009. During Seaton’s tenure, Signature Sound won multiple Dove awards, participated in the Gaither Homecoming Tours, and recorded on the Gaither Music label.
