Description: The Mark of Undeniable Passage is clearly a recent development and a measure of exactly how much control the dragons of the Chamber truly have over dragonmarks. By fundamentally changing the Mark of Passage on one Oberon d'Orien, the dragons gave their blessing to bend and break one of the fundamental rules of magic. Whether or not this artifact dragonmark can be retained or transferred from one person to another is yet to be known, but so far it seems to act in all ways like a normal dragonmark with some notable exceptions.

All of the powers of the Mark of Undeniable Passage only apply to the dragonmarked spell-like abilities granted by the wielder's Mark of Passage. They do not apply to any other source, even if they would otherwise be identical. The wielder of the Mark of Undeniable Passage gains the following benefits.

    • Any non-mythic source of extradimensional prevention, including extradimensional redirection, is ignored. No roll is needed.

    • The wielder can attempt to bypass mythic sources of extradimensional prevent, including extradimensional redirection, by spending a number of mythic power equal to the amount used for the mythic effect (minimum: 1) and succeeding in an opposed caster level check. This ability does not inform the wielder of the amount of mythic power necessary and if caster level fails, the mythic power is still spent.

    • The wielder can spend a point of mythic power as part of activating one of his dragonmarked spell-like abilities to turn it into the mythic version of that effect, if there is one. If the mythic effect can be augmented with additional mythic power, the wielder has those options as well.

Given that the Mark of Undeniable Passage is so new, if there is a way to destroy it permanently, it is not known. The clue to its destruction comes a single passage of the Draconic Prophecy, recorded from the Age of Demons, which reads...

"And we saw upon the mountain of godfire, pegai of stone, resolute in their faith. Around them, four thousand outstretched arms flew through the maelstrom.

Spears brandished. Spells sailed. Claws unleashed. Strength failed.

The one who has been to where space began and time ended will return to the moment of regret. The scale bent from the weight of a thousand souls against the will of another.

The deception seen. The dissension spoken. The bargain made. The world broken."
