Description:

This metal tube is lined with sleeping faces, ranging from peaceful to terrified. When this tube is wielded as part of a use of Nightmare, Dream or any other spell, spell-like ability, psionic power, psi-like ability or supernatural ability that targets a specific person's dreams or a specific person via their dreams, the tube gets filled with some of the ephemeral essence of that dream. A Dream Siphon can only hold one dreamer's essence at a time, but can be emptied as a free action that does not provoke.

While a Dream Siphon is filled with the essence of someone's dream, anyone who wields it gains a +1 insight bonus to all opposed skill checks made against the dreamer as well as a +1 insight bonus to the DCs of any spell, spell-like ability, psionic power, psi-like ability or supernatural ability that specifically targets the dreamer. Effects that target multiple targets or have areas of effect do not gain this bonus. A Dream Siphon can hold a dream essence indefinitely.
