Description:

This crystal disc is 2 feet in diameter and over 4 inches thick. Its original intent was to provide arcane spells from the giants to their elven slaves. Those that wield it gain the ability to cast Imbue with Spell Ability at will, but it can only transfer arcane spells (of any school) to the recipient. The recipient must have an Intelligence equal to 10 + the spell level given. In all other ways, this effect acts as Imbue with Spell Ability. This disc can be broken in half, which prevents it from being used, but it can be rejoined. No method is known to actually destroy the Shard of Arcane Endowment.
