Description: This wooden ring is 3 feet in diameter and 4 inches in thickness. A single twine is suspended across the middle of it and there are four handholds placed equally around the edge. When the twine is cut or otherwise removed, requiring a move action, the Life Ring produces a Feather Fall effect on all those that are holding on to it for 8 rounds, after which point, the ring becomes non-magical. These rings are common on airships and are usually within easy reach around the outer perimeter of the deck.
