Description:

This silver 8-inch diameter sphere is usually located inside a special floor or wall joining to prevent it from be removed or damaged. There is typically one inside each House Orien enclave and for good reason. Anyone with the Mark of Passage using any dragonmarked spell-like abilities capable of extradimensional movement to reach a destination within ten feet of an Astral Beacon can do so from twice as far away and with a familiarity one step better than normal.

It is important to note that this enhanced range and familiarity only applies to the dragonmark spell-like abilities mentioned, not similar effects that the wielder might have available.

Construction Requirements: Craft Wondrous Item, Teleport, creator must have the Mark of Passage dragonmark.
